What is operated by the 110 VAC air compressor?

Everything that uses air. It is a replacement for the engine mounted air compressor when you are stopped. In your case, no much other than filling the airbags when you don't want to start the engine, possibly extending the generator, possibly an air ride seat. Newer coaches would operate the air toilets, the interior and later entry doors, the step cover, and in some coaches, a slide out tray for a freezer or entertainment center and the air operated dump valves.

Thumbs Up

Our coach being old, uses more air in winter than summer. In summer in might only cycle once every 12 hours for a minute or so, but winter could be as much as 2 minutes every 4 hours. It was most noticable during the great Texas freeze of December 2020.

What you have experienced makes perfect sense. That is why one should do their leak detection in the cooler weather. If you can get your coach to where the pump cycles every 12 hours in the winter, it will be darn near air tight in the summer.
