1990 #234
#1

Hello everyone,
My wife and I are proud new owners of 1990 number 234, AKA Lynn and Jeff's coach.  Currently at Keesler AFB, Mississippi and awaiting orders to move *somewhere* in July/August.  This is my 10th coach and, by far, the smoothest and quietest ride of any of the coaches that I have had so far.  As a former Air Force aircraft sheetmetal mechanic, I appreciate the aluminum construction and rivets.

Do not let Chris "smoke you"

This young man is very talented

In talking he disclosed that he has done a lithium conversion on his own

, iChris seems to be extremely  anal retentive and should bring a wealth of knowledge to Newell Gurus

I hope you all get the chance to meet him, his lovely wife, and their precious two little girls

Welcome Chris! You got a good one. Lithium + solar panels is a great upgrade to yours or any coach especially if you plan to do any dry camping.
Jeff you and Lynn can't leave us....

Welcome to the gurus Chris. We are happy to have you. I think you will find this site to hold a wealth of knowledge on all things Newell. Some of the time you can find the answer in an old thread using the search engine, and if not then all manner of folks on here that are happy to help.

No fire retardant internet suits required here. This is a very courteous and respectlful group.

Enjoy your ownership.

Thank you for the warm welcome.  The lithium conversion was done on our Airstream Interstate Sprinter Van so we could run the AC going down the road sans generator.  We were able to sell it in order to buy this beauty.  So far, we are very pleased with it and have some mystery switches to figure out and just get to know it.  After having plenty of coaches with slides, we are really enjoying not having them!
