Easy mod. Replace the petcock in the bottom of the tank with a right angle DOT fitting. Run 1/4 DOT airline to the exit place of choice. Install quarter turn shutoff valves, and run a short airline out the bottom. I used stainless shut off valves typically used for LP gas. Make sure whatever valve you use is rated for 150 psi. The purpose of the short exit airline is to keep you from getting a shower when you drain the tanks. Secure the heck out of the DOT tubing.

First thing Sue asked was how often I drain the air tanks.  Sad

Richard should start a YouTube channel. My recommendation for a name.. "The shade tree Newell mechanic".

Possible episodes...

"How to align your coach with just a string and a wrench".
"Use a cell phone to determine which tire is out of balance"
"Sew a new awning and have enough fabric left over for a really nice pair of shorts"

The mind boggles with the possibilities.
