110V Headhunter & Grundfos JetpaQ water pump
#1

These older 110V water pumps were installed in Newells from somewhere in the mid 90s and into the early 2000s. They have been replaced with the Headhunter Mach 5. On my coach my owners manual says Grundfos JetpaQ and the pump says Headhunter JetpaQ. The JetpaQ water pumps have an accumulator tank that was factory charged to 30 psi. The newer Mach 5 does not have the accumulator tank.

I had never checked the accumulator tank psi. I did today and it only had 2 psi. I charged it back up to 30 psi.

I post this because if you have a JetpaQ 110V water pump you might want to check the accumulator tank pressure. Prior to checking & charging take all water pressure off the pump. Having the proper accumulator tank pressure should allow the pump to function more efficiently.
