A/C filters?
#1

Do our SCS basement air conditioners have filters?
Where are they?
Are they the replaceable type or washable type?

Probably under the entrance steps and behind the driver seat. Throwaway and you can buy at the Walmart.

Forest,

My AC filters are in the entrance steps, yours are probably in the same place. I use the universal filter material, and I cut the new filters out with a pair of scissors. You can use the old ones as a template.

If you can, determine how long it has been since the AC units were last removed and cleaned with evaporator/condensor coil acid cleaner. I removed my units and cleaned them with coil cleaner and it really makes a difference in the level of cooling. You'll be glad you cleaned them when summer rolls around!Big Grin

Pulled mine out and washed them also while I was at Steve's Farm & Campground. Difficult to find but great hosts!
