I'm looking for a nice set of easy to use wire strippers. Any one have a nice pair? Link? Almost all that I look at have poor reviews.
I like Klein
These are great if you need to strip a long length of pvc wrapped wires. https://www.grainger.com/Grainger/JONARD...Pid=search

But I grab for these almost all of the time: http://www.amazon.com/DLC-HT108-Adjustab...B0002KRAC4
By far my favorite.

I agree with Forest although you do need to be careful not to cut the strands at the same time. I don't bother setting them with the adjustment unless the wire is fragile, very thin etc.
PS I use this style of Crimper. If using an Insulated Terminal then you do need to use a better grade than PVC like Nylon though.

+1 On the Ideal -45-092-Stripmaster. Excellent tool.

I thank every one for your input and all of it was used. After considering the options, cost and workability I chose a set that I got from Zoro Tools that fits my needs nicely.

Looks nice and a great price. Most of my wiring is much smaller stuff though.
Happy New Year!
Forest,
Just to clarify here are the specs. You can do down to 30 gauge

• Special designed clamping jaws hold the wire securely during the stripping process • Powder metal jaws, hardness HV450 to 650° (HRC 52 to 57°) • Romax cable 14/2; 12/2 or NM-B cable 10-14AWG. • Adjustable stop controls the length of wire to be stripped • Extra cutting function for regular solid or stranded cable • Standard stripping and cutting gauge 10-26AWG • Swivel knob micro-adjusts for thinner wire to 30AWG or thicker wire to 8AWG • Crimp non-insulated terminals 10-22AWG • Crimp insulated terminals 10-22AWG • Crimp auto ignition terminals 7 to 8mm
there is always time for a tool run- that's what my boss tells me
I have the stripmaster- but I like the looks of the others.
