Has anyone ever mapped out all the Zerk grease fitting locations over an entire bus ??? This would be very helpful for DYI ers.

Can everyone name at least one place and not duplicate another and we can make a list that way...

I will start it of with a standard and for an option.

1) There are 2 Zerk grease fittings on either side of the engine lid on the axel bar. Grease these and the lid will move like never before.

2) If you have Howard Power Steering there is a Zerk at the universal connection fitting under the coach directly below the steering column.

It is the most overlooked maintenance item on our coaches and can prevent some expensive problems,

I also found a fitting on the bed lift motor gear.
Steve,
Maybe you could make a diagram of locations since so many fittings are covered in gunk and can't be seen easily ?? I think this is so overlooked and not hard to do yourself.
Not saying any zerks are unimportant - but greasing the slack adjusters is -necessary-.

Larry,
"Maybe you could make a diagram of locations"

You give me way too much credit. I'm still drawing stick people.

I should have added on my posting that those zerk locations are probably only good on a '96, '97, '98 & '99. Pre IFS coaches with the straight front axle may have different locations. In 2000 Newell changed the tag axle and were changing to all disc brakes so my locations may not apply.

As Chappell said he has one on the bed raising assembly--mine does not. Some Newells have a zerk fitting on the steering column knuckle--mine does not. My point is that any list is just a starting point.
Got you Steve... I have the one under the bed and it was in need of a lot of grease and then magically stopped making noise when used. Thanks Chappell !!!
Your list is fantastic Steve and is a great help to me being we have the same year. Larry's coach is later and is probably different. I found the zerk fitting under my bed when I was looking for the rear air valves for the slide. You told me where yours was and mine was in a different location in a 12X12 panel to the left of the bed motor. As you said there are no two alike.
Do any of the Newell's have a hydraulic engine fan?
the series 60 coaches have it. starting in 94/5 and going into the 2000's. my 02 has one. a two speed
