Newell Gurus

On a '87 - anyone know what Newell might have used the latch off of? Can't imagine they mfg'd it - but, it's possible.

do you mean the entrance door handle and latch?

they used the same one for years. it is out of a car if i remember,

i know a few folks have replaced them so they will pipe in what it comes from.

The handle is out of a early '80 Lincoln - the latch that closes on the post is and holds the door closed is what I'm after

If you search this site I posted the info. But I bought a new one off eBay for about $20. The ford or Lincoln fits and we're the same for years. I'll look for the p/n.

i thought it came with the flat handle as well?

The handls are flat and a seperate piece. Sounds like he's looking for the latch. Photos would be helpfull .....

Great! Marc you might want to replace the handles as well... they crack over time and it's hard to get in when the outside one breaks it's little arm off....

The handles is what started this...
