Ok 701 has a logitec remote system for all of the av.. Does anyone know if it's upgradeable to ipad control? And do I just grab the app? I'll call Newell Monday but didn't know if anyone else knew..
i would be suprised if you can use the logitech with the ipad. they are two different animals

Logitec has what looks like the remote and an app that replaces it.. The only thing I am unsure of is how the system works , is it wifi or Bluetooth from the remote or an older rf system..
dunno what you have. i replaced all of my av gear in my 02. the original stuff was too old and not the kind of functionality i wanted. i do have new harmony remotes i used in the coach though.
your current system is most likely IR. the harmony remote i have is IR.

My Harmony is IR and it is not compatible with an IPad. You can upload at the Harmony website updates and tech. There are several models of these, but most come with a plug in to a PC USB for programming.
