My 97 Newell has a breaker in my rear breaker box that is tripped. It is labeled rear lounge outlets which is usually the bedroom I don't have. Freezer which is the one underneath in fact all the outlets and lights don't work in lower compartments on the passenger side. And finally block heater. The outlets in the lounge are fine and the outlets in the lower are fine. Could it be something associated with the block heater? Or how could I locate where the failure is that is tripping the breaker.
On mine, the block heater is plugged into an electric outlet in the engine compartment. I would first try unplugging the block heater, assuming you have one, then resetting the breaker. The lights in the lower compartments are typically 12 volt DC rather than 120 VAC. However, if none of the electric outlets in the bays on the passenger side work, I would also unplug everything plugged into them. If the breaker will then reset, you can start plugging things back in until the breaker trips and you have your culprit. If the breaker trips with everything unplugged from the outlets that are all new empty, you most likely have a short in the wiring circuit itself or in one of the outlets. Occasionally, a breaker will get to the point, particularly if there have been a number of trips in the past where they will not lock well. In those cases, replacing the breaker itself is necessary.
Thanks I will try your suggestions this weekend. The first thing was change the breaker and it tripped immediately. Will look for block heater and check.
i thought all coaches that had the aquahot used it for the block heater and not a separate electric one like michael has?

I think you're right Tom. The Aquahot uses the 12 volt pump system to preheat the engine. I'm sure Paul has the series 60.
What size breaker is the one that is tripping?
Did anything change before this happened? Any new items plugged into one of the affected outlets?
Try plugging the freezer into an extension cord, or just unplug it to see if that is the problem.
You might determine which breaker is the rear lounge - see what that one is labeled, and check that, as the wires could have been switched.
Since my bird has both the AquaHot engine preheat and the 120V block heater, I'd be truly surprised if the Newell didn't have both. I'll bet there's either a problem with the block heater cord or its at the junction box where the cord comes off the chassis. I've heard of a couple of shorts right in the box.
All good advice I will be checking this weekend. Freezer is out of coach at present so not the problem. So the block heater they are referring to that is the engine block right. Where does the aqua hot figure in does it use engine heat to heat water or vise versa. The aqua hot is on the passenger side where the problem may be.
The way my 99 works is when going down the road the engine coolant will circulate through the AH and heat the water so you will have hot water when stopped, and it sort of helps cool the engine a slight bit. When I am in a park and it is 30 degrees out and my AH is running, so that the water is hot it has a pump on the AH that circulates the engine coolant through the engine to help warm it up a bit. I have a switch above the drivers seat that said Engine Preheat which cuts on the pump. The only preheat I have is the AH.
