Well it worked just fine. I guess I am ready to go dry camping now!
Something happens to where your 110V air compressor doesn't work, you will sure be glad the 12V works since you need air to make the toilets work.
Backup systems can come in really handy. When my alternator fried recently, just cranked up the generator, merged the batteries, and watched the voltage come right up. Thanks for the reminder to make sure the water and air ones are working.

I have two 12 vt and no 110. I flip one pump on anytime I am not hooks up to city water. I have replace both pumps over the last 2 years for about $200 and am very happy with this set up. Also replaced the 12 vt compressor once. The 110 air pump once.
ron, was your 110v compressor a gast or a junair? do you remember?

It was a 110v compressor a gast bought at Grainger and was the same as the one on my 89. I think I paid around 450-500 both times.
