I'm frozen in in FT. Collins, CO with temps down below zero to 12 deg today and last week. My air system is not working at all. Bay heaters are working and so is Aquahot, thank goodness! I don't need to move the coach so that helps.
Engine compressor and 110v and 12v compressors won't build pressure so the air toilet doesn't work. Is there a workaround?
I thought of heating the air dryer.
Truckers put alcohol in their system.. Not sure how that's done tho...
Just a wild idea similar to warming aircraft engines.

Plastic tarp the rear of coach all the way to the ground. Use a 100K BTU diesel fired shop heater to warm up the tarped area.
Jimmy:
That is a good idea but I don't know how to get it in the system either. I may need to put some in my own system if this doesn't resolve soon!!
Rudy:
That is a good idea too.
Come help me!!
Disconnect the airline from the engine compressor and pour it in the airline. The dryer may spit some of it out but this where I would start. When you can get to your aux pump, disconnect airline and pour it in that one too
Steve, Before you get too radical....

Have you tried the engine pre-heater? If your AH is working, then that should warm things up in the engine bay. I would crank engine and warm everything up.

I bet that you have ice frozen in an air line somewhere. Probably in the tank on the passenger side in front of wheels. (Im not sure how to warm it up).

One thing that happened to me was cold weather cracked a solenoid in the front compressor bay. I could not build any air pressure with a large leak. Have you looked in there to see if there are broken components and / or large air leak?

Good luck!
Truck stop or parts house will have an antifreeze for air system. Disconnect the 3/4 line from engine compressor that go to the air dryer and pour about 8 oz into the line. Hook back up to the compressor and start the engine up and let run for a while this should clear all of the air problems.
I've cranked the engine but to no avail. I'll head to the truck stop and get some truck brake airline antifreeze.
better question is why are you where it is so cold.......

Trying to be like Tom, Richard, Larry, Forest, & Ron when I grow up!!
With stress like this I won't make it.
