i see there are alots of options for cheap drier duct that is 6"
if i do it, that is what i will use

Just make sure it meets UL 2158A or it will likely melt.

Use a piece of aluminum duct pipe and reform it to fit the Newell tailpipe and the other end formed as a6" round and sleeve the dryer duct hose over it and hold with bungee wrapped round.. the one I made lasted 10 years although the temps and exhaust were far less from the 2 to 6 liter engines I hooked it up to
forgot to include so adding that I used apiece of about 2" wide tire tread cut to fit around the inside of the duct pipe to prevent scratches and form a air tight seal. I think I used small pan head screws between the tread lines to hold the rubber to the metal....
