Steve, just following up....did you get a replacement 'generator' and drive for the tach?
No didn't need to just yet, I am planning on lubing everything before the next trip. As I stated in the previous post the Indicator came loose and I was able to epoxy it in back in place.
So far my "field repair" worked out great. I am thinking of replacing the Tachometer just as a preventative measure but not in a big hurry since the extra $$$ is going towards the '58 Airstream and '52 Pontiac, Cabin, Rentals, etc.
so my tach is also acting erratic sporadically . Sometimes dead on, others reading 1000/500 or the other day 2000 rpms high! Could this also be a lubrication issue?
