the decision is more than geography, it has to include an rv park that can accomodate us, allow us to do the kinds of things we like to do and have the kinds of amenities, proximity to each other etc.

i have been checking some out.

And don't forget level sites for coach disassembly.
and a cabin for Cindy and I. With an oven so she can make bread pudding.
richard brings up something that was on my list as well. at least one of the parks i have looked at do not allow any work to be done on the coaches. i wonder how firm these places are on that?

It's probably driven by their insurance company - just as well ask in advance as opposed to finding out after arrival.
better to ask forgiveness than permission? They might be concerned a bunch of guys would come in converted school buses and make a mess.
Looking at the user location map. I noticed that ecantotom is located in Osceloa, Iowa. When did he move?

I'm pretty sure those who have rules against working on your RV have them because they don't want their park to look like it is occupied by a bunch of "shade tree mechanics"....nothing to do with insurance. We have the same rule, but do allow "emergency" repairs.
The only "shade" Richard has is under a coach !!
