I am at the Mountain View RV park in Creede and the temp. this morning was 32 degrees. Took the jeep over the Engineer Pass out of Lake City and back to Lake City on the Cinnamon Pass Tues. 7 hours and enjoyed every minute of it. Could hardly tell what color the jeep was when got back to the park. Life is good.

I am back in TN and the temp is 93 today. Can't wait to get back to CO and no A/C in 1 wk. Will be moving down to Ouray the 28th and will be riding Engineer Pass along with all the other trails in that area which is my favorite place. How long are you in Creede? Maybe get down your way on the G/W or RZR on a day trip. God is Great!
Ron the weather has been very good with a little rain in the afternoons but not enough to slow one down. This morning was out coldest yet, but normally around high 30s at night and low 70s during the day.
I wish I was going to be here when you are coming but plan on leaving the 25th of this month. Need to get back. I wish I was going to be here to meet you on the peak. Still a lot of snow on the trails and really beautiful.

Hi Chappell Linda and I are in south fork
Creede is very nice. Cindy and I are in FairPlay until the end of the month then move to Arrowhead Ranch near Gunnison for August. If anybody is near give us a buzz.
Colorado is great in the summer!
You guys are giving me a "nostalgia" attack! I spent one summer working up at Sumittville but stayed in Southfork. Another summer worked just north on Crested Butte but had to stay in Almont between Gunnison & Crested Butte due to less than civil natives in Crested Butte at the time. Several other summer projects in the Colorado/Utah high country. It is truly beautiful in summer all the way through fall color change. But that is definitely the time to head south unless you are a fan of sub-zero, snow, skiing and snowmobiling!
Ashley, how long will you be in South Fork. That is only 21 miles away. The couple we are with in Creede likes to fish, at least he does, and we are going fishing for the next couple of days. I plan to go down to South Fork either Monday or Tuesday of next week. Would like to maybe meet for lunch one day? My Cell is 936-615-0955.
