I have been waiting for a new transfer switch to come in and while I was waiting I have hard wired the shore power cord directly to the coach bypassing the switch..  My battery charger does not appear to be working in this configuration. Is anyone aware of something in the transfer switch controls the battery charger also?

I don't think so. Have you reset the inverter/charger? Does it have any power at all?

Marc, I'm curious which transfer switch you are going to install? I'm thinking of upgrading mine.
