Our voltage gauges are showing us that we have 120 volts on both our lines but the voltage lights at this particular rv park are not lit up showing we have 240 volts. Has anyone ever had this happen and what was the cause? We checked connections to the lights and they were tight and they were working at the last rv park. The two 120 lights are lit up but the 240 lights are not. They flicker a little bit but that's it.
if they are flickering then the lights themselves are likely bad. what happens if you fire the generator up and switch to genny power? if they come on steady then, then you have an incoming power problem.

the lights go bad frequently. they are 5 dollar items. neon

Do you have a voltmeter? If so check the plug, hot to hot. It should read 240 or so. If it reads 120 then the power pedestal is wired wrong.

Does your stove top work?
We had just been running the generator on the way here and the lights were steady on.

We measured hot to hot and it is 220.

Maybe the lights are giving out. We will see when we get to the next RV park.
