They work great in the shop, but I still use 8x8 wood blocks for when I travel.

Outer bearing and race numbers are 580 and 572
Inner bearing and race numbers are 594A and 592A
Meritor seal number is A1205V2492
Bearings and seal are in their way, should have it back together late next week.
Hey Jack, did you order the parts from Meritor?
The bearings and races I got off Amazon, the seal was from Meritor.
Got the bearings installed [attachment=5887] Meritor recommends .001 to.005 run out, I got it to about .0025 [attachment=5888], calling that good.  Had to clean the gasket off the axle [attachment=5889] then installed it. All back together, 450 ft/lbs of torque on the lug nuts is work to get, just have take it for a shot drive then re-torque. [attachment=5890] Now back to the air systems. Smile
So are you confident the spindles are ok?
I'm thinking so, I took to it with some emery cloth and it cleaned up really well.
