My Sanden dash air compressor model number has been rubbed of by the clutch wire.  Does anyone happen to know the model number of the Detroit 60 Sanden compressor?[attachment=7795]
i replaced mine some years ago. i will go out in the shop and look. i know i got it at a big truck aircon place. it was used in kenworths

fairly cheap. like 200 bucks or so

Make sure when specing compressor that you get one with a clutch pulley that mates with your setup. There are single belt, double V belt, and serpentine setups out there.[attachment=7800][attachment=7801][attachment=7801]
as with any newell,   yours may or may not be the same.

Tom, the Sanden is a rotary me thinks.
looks to be a different config anyway. but why does it matter what type of compressor it is? as long as it is the right mounting and cooling power

Thanks to all for the responses.  My configuration is like Richards, as I have the serpentine belt.  I can make out Model #48 but the last two numbers are not that clear.  Checking a few suppliers the model number 4822 is configured like mine at a cost of $225 give or take.
Yep 4822 is the label on the serpentine pulley variety.
