My Sanden dash air compressor model number has been rubbed of by the clutch wire. Does anyone happen to know the model number of the Detroit 60 Sanden compressor?[

Steve,
Make sure when specing compressor that you get one with a clutch pulley that mates with your setup. There are single belt, double V belt, and serpentine setups out there.[

Tom, the Sanden is a rotary me thinks.
looks to be a different config anyway. but why does it matter what type of compressor it is? as long as it is the right mounting and cooling power

Sanden Model U 4626, double pulley
Thanks to all for the responses. My configuration is like Richards, as I have the serpentine belt. I can make out Model #48 but the last two numbers are not that clear. Checking a few suppliers the model number 4822 is configured like mine at a cost of $225 give or take.
Yep 4822 is the label on the serpentine pulley variety.
