I’m taking Richard’s advice and incorporating a relay to control the compressor clutch. That will ensure a stronger 12v supply. The OEM AC clutch wire will become the relay control.
This is what makes air cold... in the cockpit of a 2005 Newell Coach with a Cat 13 ACERT 525 HP Engine...

I certainly hope this information is helpful if you ever need to repair your dash ac system. I have no idea if Newell used these same parts on multiple year models.
