Hello All,

I have one AH relay (Dayton 1A486F) that is missing its protective plastic cover. Seems to work OK.. but I'd still like to replace it and carry a spare or two.

Looks like Aquahot is now selling Potter & Brumfield Relays KUP-11D15-12 TE

I found tons of Dayton 1A486 relays, but not the "F"  is there any difference? Any other brands or part numbers known to work?

Thanks!
all i can say is this relay from grainger is the one i used.

DAYTON

Gen Purpose Relay, 8 Pin, Square, 12vdc

Item # 1A486
Tom,
Great.. that one is everywhere! The only difference I could find was the color and the missing "F" wonder what it means?

Also, could you let me know how your contactor is wired to the AH J-box? Looks like there is a romex and two orange wires on mine... what gets hooked up to what in the j-box.

I have all new wires now and wouldn't want to fry anything.

Thank you!
Not knowing anything other than how to do an Internet search, I'm finding the Dayton 1A486F is 120v AC and the Dayton 1A486 is 12v DC.
