The the right YARD LIGHT switch failed last night. It rocks but makes no electrical connections and acts more like a momentary switch.

Question 1: Do I pull the panel it is mounted to remove the switch? Or is it accessed from the front.

Question 2: Are these switched standardized? Or are they proprietary to Newell?

Thanks for reading.

Cheers.
Remove the panel. Depress latches on each side of the switch & push out of the panel. Switch was available at an electrical supply. Check online.
tj, i have some so when you are here we can deal with it. assuming you are still coming here soon

Thanks Tom.

I'll be there Saturday.
TJ,

I found this one in my spares box. It may help you source new ones. Maker is Carling. My fat thumb is covering up that it has THREE terminals on the rear.

If the rocker switches are lighted. beware that there are both 12V and 120V switches. If you use the 12V switch on a 120V circuit, the light is VERY bright, but not for VERY long!. I found this out when I was replacing the lighted rocker switch for my water heater.
i have a bunch of different ones.

looking forward to seeing you at the beach boys concert clint....you have front row seats.....the very first row and we are right behind you.

Richard,

If that's a lighted switch it actually looks like the switch that I'm looking for, for my Inverter Switch that's kaput above my microwave. If TJ is not a taker, I am highly interested in purchasing this from you, if you will.
