1987 40’ Newell Classic. What a Grand Lady this is and a very unique build. Very few others, if any, were built with a 3” raised roof and without a mid-coach ‘girdle’ of horizontal aluminum, affording a paint scheme that leaves one believing it to be much newer than reality. On the inside, a complete gut and refurbish, resulting in a bright and cheery atmosphere, again eliciting the sense of being in a much later model coach. Add the 3” of headroom and it’s akin to the feeling derived from being in a home with ten-foot ceilings. The downside of this coach is that it has been dormant and outdoors for over a decade and the clear-coat and some of the paint have paid the price. The upside, it’s located in a very dry climate. Nonetheless, mechanically it has been exercised and runs well. It is offered for sale in Calgary, Canada. Just some more information, the owner is on the forum. I looked hard at this coach a year ago. At that time it needed new tires, paint clear is bad, looks bad, but it’s cosmetic. The laminate was all pink but painted cream. Some of the dash components or gauges were inop and needed the dash wiring finished.

Some of these items may have been fixed, but thought it would help if someone is looking to pursue this coach further. I loved the raised roof in this classic. Other items is up to owner’s discretion.
