Newell Gurus

Travelling to look at, inspect a 1991 Newell tomorrow.
Anything special to that era I need to look out for?

You should look at the thread "Discussion about what to consider on buying a used Newell'.

One of the things that instantly comes to mind is to make sure they always used the proper straight weight 40 oil in that engine. Check airbags, tires and such. Get a log of everything done to it. If they can't produce it, then it would raise red flags.
