Do the coaches with the 8v92 have a coolant level sensor/module?
Simon, if you're not already a member of WOG (Wanderlodge owners group), you should probably join. They share a lot of components with Newell and it's an additional source to research. http://www.wanderlodgegurus.com/showthread.php?tid=9220
Thanks Jon, Ironically, I did see that and will join along with the Prevost and Foretravel group. At the end of the day, it's all about getting out and enjoying the "drive" no matter what we drive!
My 1992 8V92 has a low coolant level sensor. It's installed in radiator tank on top on the engine side.
Simon there is a module on my coach mounted near the radiator on the passenger side . On the back side of the rear wall .

If I remember correctly there is a sensor in the radiator that is wired to this module.
jon, you might be interested to know that the fellow who started wanderlodge gurus did it by copying what we did with our blessing. that is why it looks just like ours. i am glad to see it is still thriving.

The reason I ask about the module, is that I found one on fleece-bay for $17 plus shipping. Wondering if it's worth tossing into a box of spares... Thanks for the pic! Now I know where to look for it once I get the coach back from the shop.
I have not seen a module like that on mine. I just have a sensor that screws into a fitting on the top radiator tank. When I replaced it, the new one from DD was smaller thread dia. so I had to get a bushing to get it to work.
On my coach that module is hidden behind this panel. You must remove the top cover that the fire extinguisher is mounted to in order to access it. If it is faulty the DDEC thinks the coolant is low and will shut down.[attachment=10260]
I carry a spare.
