Is there a pressure adjustment for the engine driven air compressor? Mine just stays on until it bumps up against the relief valve setting at 150psi.
The governor for the compressor is adjustable , but I would think it might be bad if pressure is going that high . I replaced the governor when I rebuilt my compressor , it now has a max of 125 psi . The previous governor was 110/115 .
It's a Bendix part , located inboard of the air dryer on the '86 .
