I had replaced my CR Brakemaster dryer due to leaks with a Bendix AD-9. When in operation, the new dryer would create an oily film whenever it blasts itself. This buildup was created over the last 5900 miles I drove it since it was installed. I found a silencer kit made for this unit which includes an adapter for installing a filter mesh encased in a plastic round drum. I didn't use the drum and instead made a 1" copper line that uses a 1" I.D. hose to couple copper pipe to adapter hub. Do you think this may add unneeded back pressure? Seems to be working fine so far. out of the three Pchsssst's I got out of it along with water expulsion from the weather we are having. (Cloudy and damp) I will get the copper pipe powder coated in silver when I clean up the engine bay. It's oxidized from time.
