Newell Gurus

I am unable to get one of my slide covers to work.  It will only move about 2 inches.  I guess better that it was stuck in this position vs. stuck so that I could not retract.

Be careful with that one. It broke by itself going down Oklahoma roads. Newell glued the pieces back together. If you look under it, there are rare earth magnets that tell the slide system if they are retracted or not. Maybe one of them has fallen down. Those covers can be removed without disassembling anything. There is just a metal T that keeps it on top. Look from the bottom and you will figure it out.

Not sure why it is not moving, but a flashlight should allow you to see what is binding it.
