Not relevant to what you're dealing with but, I was coming out of Valdez Alaska once while driving commercially, and blew a CAC. Of course with nothing nearby and no way to turn around i had to keep going. I went to the next town and stopped at the store there, grabbed some JB weld and "patched" the split. Lasted 3 more runs while the shop ordered me a new one. It did end up blowing again as i was making my last run but... I might have been pulling 115K up over a mountain. I swear that engine never ran as good as it did with a 12 inch tear in the CAC.

Newell quoted about $3000 plus freight. Where is people's choice for cac?

You might contact larry frederick at atlas radiator in Houston

It has been several years, but Atlas Radiator in Corpus Cristi provided me with a radiator and a CAC. it was my understanding that for my '99 coach they were the original manufacturer. Both items fit perfectly.

In a pinch you can bypass the CAC with a tube of same size in and out but baby the motor to keep the boost down till you can replace it.
