None of my comments are intended to be personal. They are intended to help you put the situation into a manageable expectation.

The coach was likely built in 95. Unfortunately, with any on our rigs, circumstances of last ownership are often someone in latter stages of life or latter stages of RV life. Either way, they stop putting money and effort into the rig. The real estate folks politely call it deferred maintenance. You are now playing catchup. It can be intense and overwhelming while you learn the intricacies of the machine. We are here to help you, and convince you that it ALL can be fixed.

The good news is the engineering is sound, and once you address any given issue, you are unlikely to face that one again.

I’m very much appreciate your help so far..  I knew what I was getting myself into.  The Wanderlodges were the same way..  I often thought to myself I get these things all fixed up and then buy another one ?

Guess this is my fault lol! I showed up at the Wanderlodge rally with a Newell and look what happens haha! Glad to see another WL member make the transition, its not so much different than a Wanderlodge. Its just that first hill to climb to get things fixed from the deferred maintenance.

It was quite a funny way this came about. Dennis had just contacted me and let me know he was looking for that particular coach. I started looking a bit online and almost immediately came across the coach for sale on MOT website. He was beside himself because he had been on their website looking for this coach. I guess I just happed to go on just shortly after they listed it for sale. It was definitely meant to be.

Look forward to seeing you enjoying your new to you coach soon!

We are meeting up in Tennessee this May, just saying! Find the 2025 No Newell Eastern rally thread.

There has to be a backstory to searching for one specific coach……………..

RE: Now a Newell Guy - whited44 - 03-07-2025

I wasn’t at that rally. But I sniffed out that you bought a newell pretty early.

Yeah I’ll hafta check my schedule to see if I can work that rally in.

The back story is I saw that on MOT website a long time ago and couldn’t make a move on it fast enough. It disappeared for a long time. I went to look at #452 and that is when #454 came up for sale so I called them the next day and out a deposit on it

Welcome Aboard Dennis & Jeff.

Richard is pretty spot on with the $20k & 2 years estimate. That's with us cranking wrenches as much as we can.
I try to address the memory makers as soon as possible and at the closest to 100% as possible as not to have to do it again.
