So got to Toms today around noon and hooked up to his 30 amp. I can run 1 a/c on high which is both compressors running plus air compressor plus refrigerator, tv, etc. But that is about all, just will have to watch any other high amp draw like microwave. Also running the 12volt water pump.

Forest, be really careful. On my coach I noticed that one of the blades on the Hubbell plug was off color. Took it apart and the wire was really off color the screw that secures the wire could no longer be tighten. I ordered a new Hubbell plug and replaced it. They are expensive at about $86.

Forrest,
You learn pretty quickly when to turn AC off so you can briefly run something else like vacuum or washer. A few trips out to reset main breaker at the most inconvenient times is a great learning aid.

Let me second Chappels caution and extend it to all plug fixtures. In my opinion the screw connections should be an annual PM. Twice I have found discolored and less than tight connections on the inside of the plug.

I can do quite well on as little as 15 amps....even run one A/C if need be, but under ideal circumstances.....moderate weather, etc., 15 amps is more than enough.....30 amps is luxurious.

Yes, 15amp works just fine for me also, just enough to charge batteries for longer stays. Im so far north I dont need air cond very often, we usually just use battery power for overnight stops.
