Got my height control valve on. Aired it up and it got the leans. Seems like it’s overinflating.

There are 4 ports on the valve. Can someone tell me which lines go to what port??  There are c1 and c2 markings on the valve. I think it may have gotten clocked the wrong way

If you take the arm of the height rod, when you lift it up it should empty the bags, when you push it down it should fill them, looking at your picture the rod is angled upwards and not lowering the bags. I would rotate 180 on the square valve body. Air inlet is usually a side port and air outlet to the bags is usually a side port. the bottom should be an exhaust port. the 4th port should be plugged.

C1 & C2 go to the air springs.  You can use one & plug the other if it's not needed.  The other two, one is in and the other is exhaust.  It depends on the mounting orientation which is which.  The top is normally IN and the bottom Exhaust.  Refer to my post #13 attachment for the Barksdale diagram.

Thanks Jim that helps a lot!!

In a pinch you can use those press on air fittings but I would not use them for a permanent fix.

UPDATE!!!!

Took the outside wheel off and accessing the height control valve was a breeze

Took the old one off, swapped the arm to the new one, put the appropriate compression fittings on with all brass dot hose and fittings.  No more push connects (on this at least)

I figured out which port was in by turning on the aux compressor.  Used the one that had air coming out as “in” C1 went to the bag, C2 was plugged, bottom is open for “exhaust”

Fired it up and I’m back in business. I bought a spare as a back up so I can keep it with me for next time.

Nice work Dennis, glad you got it sorted.
