Sconce lights question - folivier - 01-22-2014

I have 2 of these sconce lights that have 2 halogen fixtures pointing up and 1 or 2 inside of the globe part. I was able to easily change the 2 up lights to leds but how do I get to the fixtures inside of the globes?

I remember leaning it off the wall, from the top.... a couple of screws??

RE: Sconce lights question - folivier - 01-23-2014

Thanks Matt. But when I took out the 2 screws at the top there is no way my hand will fit through the hole to get to the bulb. Guess I won't be changing those bulbs.

If all else fails there is always a hammer!!

I would bet that the service staff at Newell can tell you how to access those bulbs Forest.

Forrest or anyone that has changed these out,

Were you able to figure out a way to change the sconce light bulbs out? Top ones are easy but I am trying to figure this out also?

Thanks
Pam

If I remember this correctly take the whole assembly off the wall and the area between the globe and the wall will be open

Richard,

I took the 2 screws out at the top and pulled the bottom out as far as I could with the wiring!  But the hole in the back of the assembly is too small to get my hand into!
Thanks
Pam

Can you use long needle nose pliers to get the old bulb out and the new one in?

Richard,

The light has a lens cover to twist and take off, but I'm not able to get my hand inside the hole to get to the lens cover or bulb.  I'm on phone now with Steve M trying to figure it out  :-)

Well this is still a on going task to try to figure it out! LOL But for now I have all of them changed out except for these 4!

Thanks
Pam
