Removing center console (doghouse) - Gordon - 05-03-2014

I'm installing new flooring & having a difficult time remove the doghouse. I've removed 3 screws that hold it down in the center. I don't think it is attached to the dash?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

it may be installed to the front firewall

Gordon.

Can you post a pic? On coach 390 there were at least six screws holding it to the floor and screws hidden behind the console hinge that screwed the doghouse to the dash. IIRC I had to remove the. ConSole cover to access the screws

    Richard,
Good hearing from you. I've attached 3 pictures, one of the console & 2&3 of where I found the 3 screws. The right side seams attached at the floor but not where it is close to the dash by the glove compartment door. The left side is rock solid just below the dash. There is a piece of wood that hold the bracket for the panel that goes behind the throttle. The screws that retain that peice of wood to the doghouse MAY go throught the doghouse, but not sure yet

I'll advise when I get them out

Thanks again
