The first 1989 Newell (sequence number 001) is listed on Ebay. Most of its life was as a team coach for Tony Bettenhausen Jr.'s team. If you like bright green, this coach is for you. Rear lounge with 3 couches. Claims to have a 20kw turbo diesel generator.

Ouch! You better really love green. That coach will certainly stand out anywhere.

Now if you had a nice old John Deere tractor in the trailer........

RE: 1989 Classic - encantotom - 06-03-2014

wow...i hope the entire thing was maintained well at 400k miles. and 9-10mpg? sounds a little high

but it does look cool. the green is very eye catching

New engine & tranny about 65K miles back. Also trailer has a complete brand new hub to hub spare axle.

With some yellow detailing could probably sell to a Green Bay Packer fan for tailgating!

RE: 1989 Classic - Retro - 06-04-2014

Some stripes and different colors would do wonders for it. One just has to think outside the box, I think it has alot of potential for the right price. Perhaps the mpg is canadian gallons? 9-10 usg is stretching it a bit I think

RE: 1989 Classic - Erniee - 06-04-2014

at least the interior is nice- probably a "non" smoker too

The joy of sleeping on couches.
