Parker Strip - prairieschooner - 01-21-2015
We made it back to the Parker Strip and setting up camp.
We met up with Mike and Nancy (mnhoff) tonight and had a beer (or two). They have a very nice '95 and are just next to us on the Strip.
Anyone else here?
We're thinking of driving the Jeep to Quartzsite Thursday.

Coming through Quartzite today (Wednesday) on our way to Wittmann.......got held up two days due to an issue with the VW. Will be rolling from Riverside between 7 and 8 this morning. Since we have lost two days I don't think we are going to stop in Quartzite this time around......we'll see.
Got four new drive tires installed on the Newell Monday, oil changed, filters changed, and dash A/C recharged......nice to have 40 degree air coming out those vents once again.

Come on down! The more the merrier! Arrived at the "Newell House" Wednesday at 4:30 (AZ time)......great, uneventful 307 mile drive.....a little long for me.....:-)

I'll give you a call, we are headed there today with Jeep & Dogs. It was very windy yesterday here and hopefully will be much better today.

Went to the Desert Bar & Grill yesterday with Mike & Nancy. Had a couple of beers and then a hot dog before leaving.
