This has the potential to benefit Newell owners.  Biggest downside to many will be the appearance since it may not fit under the high hats and front/tag hub covers.

There's an opportunity....Make a nice shiny cover to mount over the Halo!!!

I like the thought of these. A cover shouldn't be hard to come up with.

I like the idea. We will still have road "gators" as long as they run retread tires though.

For those with tire pressure monitors, that function will be eliminated. However, a blow out will notify the owner of a malfunction.

So I would never have to check the tire pressure again? That would save me at least 15 minutes every day that I am traveling, if I travel 20 times a year for at least 3 days that is 60 checks per year * 15 minutes and that is 15 hours per year saved... Assuming I am 'working' while traveling, which I do most of the time then at a rate of say $50/hour (on 1099 of course) then I would be saving $750 / year! So if these run $500/wheel * 2 for the drive tandems then I would take only 1.5 years to pay it off (give or take)... Sounds like a reasonable justification to me! Lol I think my wife would NOT like the way they look...
