OK, OK, something did fail! - Express1 - 12-16-2012

I had to replace a 6" section of my aquahot exhaust under my coach. It rusted out.
I sawzsalled ( sure thats a word) the bad section, got new pipe from muffler shop about 12"-16" used high temp silicone and 4 muffler clamps. All in All about a 30 min. fix.

My question is- do I need to rewrap new pipe section and with what?

It is a much heavier gage than before.
Looks great as is.....Huh

Currently working on my own Outdoor Resort lot in my backyard.

Connies newest song. She wrote all including the horn parts. This is a famous horn player from new orleans. He is that good.

Matt,
The wrap is put on the exhaust pipe so you don't ignite something. The most common is parking on dry grass. If this is not a concern you don't need it. If you do here is a exhaust wrap we used on the race car headers. Once wrapped you can touch it.

Thanks Steve, was more concerned about the top side. Heating the coach foam insulation....Thinking about a heat shield of some sort. But could just simply wrap as it was before.
