Roof coating - folivier - 03-30-2013

While at Steve's I used his ladder to remove the (not so) clear plastic cover over the rear camera and looked at the roof while up there.
It appears the roof has a white coating that is similar to a spray-on bedliner. It has a similar texture and looks about 1/16" thick. I was expecting the silver paint, nice surprise.

In some circles, the DIY Bedliner is the alternative to replacing the roof on a coach. Flexible,tough,uv resistant, and waterproof. The white is bonus for heatload.

The sprinter conversion crowd uses it to coat the inside of sports oriented conversions. And the jeep crowd is using it to coat the inside of the steel interiors.

It may just join spit and duct tape as universal fix its

We use it on the bottom side of street rods.

I used it to coat the flooring of the wet bay. Worked great!
