Knoedler Air Chief Seat 8 Way Switch Repair - hypoxia - 04-21-2023
Apparently the 8 Way switch is no longer available from Knoedler. I shamelessly plagiarized this information from the Foreforums. That switch is a Kia Sedona Switch

Nice find there on something that I had given up on. The fore/aft control of my switch hasn't worked in six months. I had to rewire my switch/motor wiring by stealing the tilt portion of the switch and giving that to the fore/aft movement. Now I can order this Kia part and problem solved.

problem is see is mine unit is RH. pdf shows left hand. Is there a way to still use it if a right-handed use is needed?

Yes. You might have to move some wires to different terminals on the switch.

I used the above LH switch and it worked. I can't remember if I moved any wires or not. My switch is on the right side of the seat.

Um...ok, I'm gonna say it...
A switch...from KIA...in a Newell. There has GOT to be a joke tucked in there somehow.
Then again...it's a KNOEDLER seat, sooooo...should we glare at them instead?
I guess maybe we should be grateful there's a fix...and a dang cheap one at that!

thanks for the quick response. I am going to try to repair the unit. Pressing the "forward/backward" it control makes contact.
