I have a little experience with these we have many of them they are used on not only the leading edge of the slide but the trailing end of the slide, in our case they are drilled, counter sank and screwed to the coach, this is not what came from the factory but if your in a bind we will sell you the new ones we have, I bought the material they are made of and can cut out my own with my mill.

I need to know if I should cut these grommets off - they are sticking up about 1/2” above the slide room top - please see pics

Tom helped me figured it out - these just slip in and the slide pins push them down. It’s nice and quiet inside now :-)

BTW, these ended up costing me nearly $250 for overnight shipping from Newell but the DIFFERENCE IN NOISE is dramatic! No more clattering slide! Now I can hear all the other thing that are loose from driving I-20 and I-10!!!
