If only I could remember what I had for lunch…………

Can you watch those supply gauge pressures for a bit and let us know what they are? It might be best to confirm what we think on the switch before replacing it.

Over the years, my cheap skate nature has driven me to diagnose first, and replace parts second. May take a little more time, but saves a lot of money.

Took the cover off and cleaned off what looked like possible corrosive dust and turned the nuts on the two springs back and forth. Still acted the same with only slight interval improvement. Dash gauge pressure was at 90lbs. Didn't get the low end.
I found an exact replacement with same specs, but w/o the smaller spring...just 1 larger spring and no on/off lever. $46 out the door and I'm saving a few days shipping. Heading back to Phoenix in 2 wks. We'll see if it works as hoped!

Well, learning as I go.  Under threat of replacement, this darn well switch has become an anomaly of acting on its own with self adjusting settings.  So, I helped it along by new cleaning of the points and placing the current settings at 70-95 lbs.  They were at 80-90lbs and I have no idea how they got there. Run intervals are back to my normals! Anyone have any wisdom as to my needing to keep the new switch?

The answer depends on your tolerance for aggravation.
