Houston alignment shop - pairodice - 04-12-2024

Full alignment/balance shop near Beaumont/Houston TX? Got new tires all around and the handling is bad… all over the road and very jiggly. I want a shop that can put the whole rig on the rack and align and let me know what parts I need to calm it down… I may have to drive to the mother ship…

BTW, front tires are Michelin 365s and rear are General 24.5’s - most of the shake seems to come from the front. Maybe it needs new shocks as it does bounce pretty good when I-10 gives it a workout…

I am confused. I reread your oct 23 post on the same issue. Did you get the coach front page aligned in oct?

I did take the coach to an alignment shop and they said it was ok as-is so I’m not sure… I think I’m going to try to get it in at Newell unless someone knows of a good shop in TX …

Check tag axle bushings and panhard bar, Richard saved bacon finding these defects parts.

Adrian,

There are a dozen posts or more in the suspension section pertaining to fixes for the handling issues you described. My personal experience was that the steering column and rear suspension areas were far more impactful than front end alignment settings. Take some time to find and digest those posts before you spend money on yet another alignment.

Will do Richard! I will have some time this week to dig into these posts and check it out… I will be surprised if it is not bushings as I just redid all those on my Land Cruiser a few weeks ago…

I went through the posts but still need someone near Houston to do the work. Any suggestions?
