1998 Coach Basement Power? -
Frankie4Fingers - 08-22-2024
I just bought coach 469 from 1998 and I can't, for the life of me, find any 120v outlets in the basement bays. I am trying to plug in a regular device to store in one of the bays but can't find a plug. Does anyone know if this vintage has any? I did see what looks like a 30a plug in the bay with the inverter, just in front of the plumbing bay, but that doesn't seem like a regular outlet I would want to use.
Any thoughts?

I have added 2 outlets but our coach has one from factory in the bay behind the mid entry door by the light, and also one in the water bay by the light.

I have one similar location as Tom and another in the plumbing bay. I added another in the engine compartment

Well good news... there was one in the large bay next to the door. It was near the top and I didn't notice it. Thanks for all of the help.

Corey,
I would confirm this on your coach, but on mine that outlet is powered through the inverter. You will find the inverter circuit breakers on the drive side of the coach in the bay with the inverter.

I think this coach has had a replacement inverter installed. Not sure if that matters as far as the outlet though.
The plumbing bay on this one looks different than some. This is the only rear bath floor plans that I have seen in the 90s. They didn’t seem to have made many. It also only has one slide, which was strange for the time period too. The bed is really small because of no bedroom slide.
