Howdey doodey - Newell_fox - 06-14-2025

Hello everyone, this is Hutch.  I am from the UK and am looking for a Newell coach to purchase.  I am looking for a solid running project that I can upgrade and catch up on maintaining as I live aboard !!

I am reasonably handy and can certainly DIY most things.  I need to absorb as much knowledge about the Newell's altough after watching a few Youtubers it seems they are all very different due to bespoke designs.

Anyhoo, If you see me online, I am absorbing as much information as I can.  I have just watched the Youtube explanation of the Newell Air system in detail.

I have NOT purchased one yet, I want a Detroit Series 60.  There are a few on RV Trader, and budget is not going to stretch to anything mid naughties !!

Welcome Hutch!

I have a solid 1996 Newell listed on this site. It’s coach 414. Happy to discuss with you,

Kenny

Welcome Hutch, your in the right place, sure that many can help you and point you in the right direction. Are you going to ship it to the UK or are you living here now?

Hello Jack, No I'm not shipping it back to the UK.  I almost bought a double decker in the UK to convert. Yes, we have double deckers but due to USA hight restrictions can't be done apparently.  I'm down in Quartzsite AZ, I currently have a 28ft Toy Hauler and a 2005 Surburban 2500 with the Bigblock V8 4x4. As I mentioned, i'm going to need the support of the community.
