side trim removal - [email protected] - 06-17-2025

I did a word search but did not find info-
How is the long trim strips attached- I see a phillips head screw on each end but I need to inspect under the trim. I suspect it covers a seam- just below drivers side rear slide.

thanks
JD

John, from what I've experienced there are two ways that Newell put these strips on. One was a 3M adhesive which was my coach but the other is you remove the end cap on the trim and slide it off there are disc that fit inside the trim piece and are attached to the coach body. When removing the trim it exposes all the rivets between the top and the bottom aluminum panels. This is where Newell had issues and the rivets would sheer and cause misalignment issues. Check rivet inspection on the forum. It will give you more information.

Jack is right. I have the slide off trim and you have to remove the side engine bay doors to get it off.
