Brake part numbers? -
Gem930 - 08-09-2025
I’m having a bit of a problem using the search function, so please forgive me if this is out there, but I’m looking for part numbers for the main drive brake rotors the front brake rotors and wheel seals and pads for both.
Anybody have the part number is handy? I will call Newell on Monday, but was hoping to get the parts ordered before then.

Gregg,
Do you have Dana Kirkstall front end or do you have a steerable tag coach with ZF suspension? If the former, this link may help.

#639 is the last 2002 model, but not a ZF suspension. All ZF's were 2004+.

Not sure if the part numbers for the front are correct or not, but my rear mains are disks not drums, so still looking for part numbers on those.

Right, Newell converted to disc on the drive after mine was built. The caliper will be the same, but I don’t know about the disc.

Hello Richard, I talked to Newell this morning. All they could really tell me is it is a Dana suspension. They told me to get the tag off the pumpkin which makes sense for the rear. He didn’t have a ton of information on the front. I think he said it was a Dana 84, is that what yours are? I’m wondering if the part number is for your front are correct?

Well I got tag numbers, but both local truck parts supply places were clueless.
Front appears to be a Dana IFS 84 part number is 26482.
Rear tag on the pumpkin is Meritor A3121F2320
Does that mean anything to anybody?

I have had great luck with getting parts from them. Shipping is pretty quick with in stock items. Like 2 days to Alaska. Once you get the proper part numbers see what they have.

The part numbers were for a DANA IFS 84. The caveat is this !!!!!!!! What I learned through this process is the brake, rotor, and hub are known as the wheel end. And the wheel end doesn’t have much to do with the suspension manufacturer at all.
I found that the same brake parts were used on Prevost. In fact, I got a lot of the later parts from Prevost. And I did a direct replacement of the entire caliper on Bill Johnson’s ride which we obtained from Prevost.
At one point in time, when rebuilding the brake systems, I was in the same place as you. Intimidated and researching for part numbers. I made very little progress, until I pulled all the wheels off one side and looked at the numbers stamped on the calipers and rotors on the coach. Then I started to make progress.
