Colorado 14 and US 40 Length Concerns? - hypoxia - 08-10-2025

Contemplating travel on CO 14 from Ft Collins (Bellvue) to Walden and US 40 over Rabbit Ears to Steamboat with the coach towing a pickup.  Any length issues I should be aware of?  I have traversed many of the other CO passes, FWIW.

I looked at CO Trip and cannot even find the Independence Pass 35' restriction on it even with the truckers version.  That made me wonder how anyone would know in advance.

I don't know about CO 14 but we covered most of US 40 in CO with our MC8 (40') pulling a 26' stacker. Camped for awhile on top of Rabbit Ears. That was late summer 2018 and the traffic was nominal. We had good friends living in Craig who had a business at Steamboat. We hung around there for a few days helping them get ready for winter. Beautiful area of the world.
As a P.S. Marian reminded me that we went thru Walden on the way to Laramie on the way home.
