windschild rubber. (1970) - Donna - 09-22-2025

Dear Newell friends.
I need to replace the two windscreens on our Newell (1970)
I am  looking for the original rubber to insert the windshields (the width of the rubber is 1 inch ) Since I live in the Netherlands, these are not available here, and perhaps one of you knows where I could get them (see photo).
I would be very grateful to you for your help.
Greetzzzz from the Netherlands
Pieter

Pieter,
Welcome, hate to run you around but have you tried to contact Newell to see what they say? They may be able to help. I know we had issues getting Wanderlodge windshield gaskets and we had a group get together and we had them made. You may have to find a good windsheild installer that works on heavy equipment as they are used to dealing with glass like this and often they can utilize gasket material and make their own gaskets.

FYI I know a gentleman in France that has a 1990's era Newell that was imported by Puegot's race team. I have been helping him with parts, he also has a Bluebird Wanderlodge.

Take a look at this one. It may work. They have other profiles as well.
